Career-based internships allow you to gain relevant, hands-on experience and skills while you explore your professional interests. They’re also a launchpad for landing a career you love.

Principia provides stipends for career-related internships that are unpaid or minimally compensated. Our stipends have supported interns around the world—at St. 尤斯特歇斯国家公园, Redbook magazine in New York City, Ban Pongwuadaeng School in Thailand, Miami-Dade Police Department, 塔科马艺术博物馆, and the United States 国务院.

The Summer Research/Creative Assistant Program offers high-level, hands-on learning that will help you hone your skills. These resume-building opportunities increase intellectual engagement with Principia College faculty and have included investigating the use of autonomous robots in forest ecosystems, exploring anti-racist practices through theatre, and researching factors that shape rates of food insecurity. The program provides a stipend and an opportunity to live on campus.
